Apply In-Person:

1. To Apply for Street Hawkers Licence in person, the applicant must visit the Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA).
2. Address and contact details can be found in the following Contact link
3. Applicant must obtain the application form from the respective Authority.
4. Fill in the application form as prescribed by the Authority.
5. Applicant must attached the all the required documents in the application form and they can be found under the "Required Documents" section of this page.
6. Payment of appropriate fees should be made and that can be found under the "Fees" section of this page.
7. Submit the completed form in two copies along with the supporting documents to the GRA office.
8. Upon receipt of an application, the Authority shall review the application to ensure that all the relevant documents are available to enable the processing of the application.
9. Where, upon review of an application under sub-regulation, the Authority finds that the application is incomplete; the Authority shall request the applicant to provide additional information or clarify the information provided.
10. The Authority shall, within three months after receipt of an application or additional information, investigate and prepare a detailed report in respect of the application to enable the processing of the application.
11. After considering the application and the report, the Authority may grant a person approval certificate for Street Hawkers Licence.
12. The processing time for this procedure takes 1 day.

• A licensing authority may refuse to grant a hawkers License under without assigning any reason for the refusal, and may revoke any hawkers License granted under this section if it is satisfied that any of the terms and conditions upon which the hawkers License was granted has been contravened.
