1. To Apply for Real Estate Broker Certificate in Ghana, the applicant has to approach the land commission office. contact link
2. Applicant must obtain the application form from land commission office.
3. Submit the proof of completion of the education requirements (a copy of official transcripts or course completion certificates). Requirements listed down the “Required Document” section of this page.
4. Applicant must successfully complete the required education and licensing exam and submit an application and fees.
5. Applicant must pass the broker licensing exam.
6. Payment of appropriate fees should be made and that can be found under the "Fees" section of this page.
7. Complete the broker license application and pay the fees.
8. Applicant must have knowledge and experience of this field before starting business in this profession and both these things are difficult and necessary however getting a license for this profession is also necessary and difficult one.
9. Applicant should have at least one-year experience in this field or applicants have practiced as a business owner in this profession.
10. Applicant should have completed at least 90 hours or more for Real Estate Courses, which are approved.
11. Applicant should have qualified The Ghana Real Estate Examinations successfully. When applicant have qualified exam it is necessary that his/her apply for license within two years.
12. There should be a valid address for the applicant’s business. It is necessary that his/her have completed and submitted in the respective office.
13. In both kind of license in the field of real estate, the renewal is necessary after every two years.
14. The processing time for this procedure takes 7 days.
