Apply In-Person:

1. To Apply for Gold and Silver Smiths License in Ghana, the applicant must go to the Ada East District Assembly (AEDA) office contact link
2. Applicants should obtain the required application form from the Ada East District Assembly Office.
3. Applicant must be filled all the information in the application form.
4. Applicant must make sure to carry all necessary documents that are mentioned under “Required Documents” section of this page.
5. A fee for this procedure is has to be paid as per the authority’s request.
6. Now, complete the application form with appropriate information under relevant sections. Attest it with the applicant signature once completed.
7. Once completed filling the application form, submit it in person to the relevant authority at the office.
8. Pay the necessary application fees and licensing fees for obtaining a Gold and Silver Smiths License.
9. After submission, the application and other documents will be forwarded for examination and verification processes.
10. Once the verification and validation processes are over, the application will be approved and the officials will proceed to take required steps to issue the license.
11. When the license is ready to be collected, the applicant will receive a formal notification from the office and the applicant can collect it by any applicable means.
12. Generally, the processing time for this procedure is 60 days.

• Other documents that may be requested by the AEDA.
