• Valid identity document (the old identity card if available, otherwise the passport, child's passport, children's passport)
• For applicants under 16 years of age, application are submitted by their guardians, usually the consent of the other parent or guardian is also required.
• Recent photo of the applicant. Sample photo to be submitted
• Presentation of the applicant's birth certificate may be requiered by authorities when:
  • The applicant have previously owned a passport or identity card or
  • The data on the ID card differ from the entries in the register.

Issuance of identification cards:

• For person aged 24 and over: 28.80 EUR
• For persons under 24 years old: 22.80 EUR
• Provisional identity card: 10 EUR

• Initial activation of the online ID function: free of charge
