1. Gather all documents you will need to submit or present in order to apply for the procedure.
2. Complete an application form.
3. Submit form along with all other required documents.
4. Pay all necessary fees.

Obtaining a permission to convey firearms and ammunition is not necessary in the following cases:

• Conveying of not more than 300 units of bullet of smooth bore gun, not more than 50 units of rifle and gas gun bullet, or not more than 1 kg gunpowder owned by a natural person;
• A natural person has the right to possess and manage the firearms as defined by Georgian legislation; s/he without permission enjoys the right to convey temporarily owned hunting firearms and bullets (not more than 300 units);
• Conveying service and military weapon by authorized public servants of the Ministry of Defense, Ministry of Internal Affairs and Ministry of Justice of Georgia;
• Conveying firearms taken as a proof from criminal cases;
• Of Service Agency employee for registration or other procedures regarding firearms;
• Of Managing the firearms being in state property;
• Of conveying pledged firearms for the purpose of compulsory enforcement;
• Of conveying of seized or confiscated firearms during administrative violations.
