1. In order to obtain a Residential Permit, applicants must complete the application form.
2. Submit the application form along with original and copies of applicant's supporting documents.
3. Pay the application fee.

To obtain Residential Permit A:

• Passport with current entry stamps

To obtain Residential & Work Permit B:

• Completed application form
• Passport with current entry stamps
• GRA payroll tax receipt (for applicants working in a managerial position)

Residential Permit A

1,100 Dalasi for ECOWAS and Non-ECOWAS Nationals

Residential Permit B

For ECOWAS Nationals: 1,300 Dalasi

For Non-ECOWAS Nationals: 1,800 Dalasi

Residential Permit A

Residential Permits (A) are issued to residents only. The permit must be renewed every year.

Residential & Work Permit B

Residential Permit B is issued for both residence and work purposes. Residential Permit B must be renewed annually and must be possessed by all foreigners engaged in work in the country.
