In order to assist students in paying for their college and post - graduate education, Governments of Gambia offer student loans. Typically, such loans carry a lower interest rate, compared to commercial loans and they are mostly issued and approved by the government of Gambia.

Steps To Find Your Student Loan

Step 1 The first step is to use a comparison tool method. Select the college/university you will be attending and the amount of money you need to borrow. You can then see the loans that meet your criteria and go for that.

Step 2 Next step,Select Your Student Loan. see what Ministry of Education through the loan department are offering and what qualifications you need are available at your school. Compare the terms and conditions and then you can apply for that loan as necessary.

Step 3 Fill Out Your Application. Complete the loan application form up to the end. If you are a non-Gambian citizen or non-Gambian permanent resident, you will not need to apply for this type of loan because you are not Eligible.

Step 4 Get Approval. Initial approval is often within days or weeks of your completed application. Funds from your loan will be disbursed by the Loan department once it has been approved directly to your College or tertiary institution Bank Account.
