Gabon - Pay Electricity Bill


Procedure

Apply In-Person :
Payment by Cash

  1. Visit any nearby Societe d'Energie et d'Eau du Gabon (SEEG) agency office, with the electricity bill invoice and the amount to be paid indicated on the invoice.
  2. Approach the services counter and submit the invoice bill and the recommended amount in cash to the attending official.
  3. Who will verify the amount to be paid through their computer system and if the amount is in order, he/she will clear your bill and issue you a receipt confirming the payment immediately.

Payment by Cheque or Transfer:

  1. You can pay your bill to SEEG by Cheque. To do this, simply complete the check and indicate on the back of the check your telephone contact and address.
  2. You must then put the check and photocopies of the relevant invoices in the check box located at all SEEG agency.
  3. You must return to the agency later to collect your payment receipt.



Online Payment Methods
Via Airtel Money (Airtel) – Airtel Money PIN Required

  1. Subscribes of Airtel mobile service Gabon can make payment of their electricity bill by;
  2. Select Airtel Money from the menu.
  3. Click on "Make Payments".
  4. Select "Pay bill”.
  5. Choose “Electricity Bill”
  6. Enter the amount you wish to pay.
  7. Enter your Airtel Money PIN.
  8. Under the reference option, type your full electricity account number e.g. 123456-01.6 Confirm that all details are correct.
  9. You will receive a confirmation of the transaction via SMS.

  • Payment of Amount indicated on the invoice bill either in cash, draft cheque, transfer.

Validity

You have a period of 15 calendar days from the date of establishment of your invoice. Beyond this date, failure to pay will result in the suspension of supplies.
