For getting a new driver license, it is advisable to approach a driving school in Gabon who can guide you in getting the driver license. Following are some steps which can help you understand the steps that you might have to go through to get it done.

1. Filing an application with an approved driving school.
2. The driving school would train/check you for driving and monitoring, niche and city driving.
3. If the driving school believes that the candidate is able to succeed in these three types of workshops, it transfers the case to CNEPC.
4. Depending upon the provided appointment schedule given by the CNEPC, you will have to appear for the driving test.
5. On the day of the examination, the candidate would be expected to completed a "examination sheet".
6. After evaluation of the President of the Committee the results are sent back to the driving schools.
7. If you are successful with all the test, the board sends the examination sheet to the service that is responsible for issuing permits.
8. Once in possession of this card, you are issued a provisional license, valid for 6 months and 1 year driving license for C permit D.
9. After 6 months or 1 year after the class of license, you are issued a final permit.
