1. Go to a service point of local police at any locality.
2. Prove your identity and submit required documents.
3. Complete an application form.
4. Have your fingerprints taken.
5. Pay the fee.

Emergency passport - 80

A emergency passport is only issued for the time period during which it is needed, however not exceeding 12 months.

The emergency passport is issued to the applicant on the spot.

Emergency passport can be issued to a person only in a valid emergency type situation e.g. if a passport has been lost or stolen. Emergency passports are usually issued only accordingly with the necessary travel plan for instance returning back to the country of residence.

An emergency passport is issued if issuing an ordinary passport is not possible even in a fast track or express process. But preconditions for granting an emergency passport are always carefully considered in each case.

An emergency passport does not contain a technical part (microchip), and it is issued to the applicant on the spot.
