Apply In-Person:

1. The Taxi Permit/License renewal is issued by the Chief Executive in Land Transport Authority (LTA) Fiji. Contacts
2. The applicant should obtain the application form from the authorities in the LTA office.
3. The Taxi Permit renewal application forms are received from three (3) Transport Zones in Fiji, namely, Nadi 1, Nadi 2, and Lautoka 1.
4. Before applying for the renewal, the applicant must have cleared all the convicted TIN’s.
5. The application should be submitted at least 28 days before the date of expiry of the permit/license.
6. Make sure that you have all the documents that are mentioned in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
7. The application form should be filled with necessary details, and then you should submit it to the Chief Executive officer in LTA.
8. The application form must be submitted along with the prescribed fee payment receipt.
9. The CEO in the LTA office will verify the renewal application.
10. The processing time will be intimated by the authorities in the LTA office.
11. The applicant will be advised if the application is rejected. Then, they will give you a rejection letter.
12. If the application is approved, you will need to pay the fees for the renewal.
13. After the fee payment, the applicant can collect the Taxi permit from the LTA office.

• Current Base Letter valid for three years.

The renewed Taxi Permit validity are:

• One year Annual Fee Permit is valid for One year.
• Three year Annual Fee Permit is valid for Three years.
