1.To obtain a motor insurance in Fiji, an applicant should start deciding on the insurance policy which will cover his / her needs;

2.Thereafter proceed by identifying an authorized insurance company which offers a policy that will cover all liabilities that the applicant wishes to insure the vehicle against.

3.After choosing an insurance company, to the offices of the identified insurance company and find out what is required in order to obtain a motor insurance policy required;

4.Prepare all required documents, obtain application form from the insurance company chosen and fill it correctly;

5.There after attach required documents on to the filled form and submit documents to the insurance company;

6.Make payments;

7.Thereafter the insurance company grants policy to the vehicle;
