Apply In-Person:

1. To obtain Removal Defect order for Rental Vehicle, the applicant must visit the Land Transport Authority (LTA) Fiji. Contacts Link
2. The application form must be obtained from the authorities in the LTA office.
3. Before applying for the defect removal, the applicant must have cleared the defects issued by the authorized inspector of LTA.
4. The defect must be cleared within 14 days of issue.
5. The applicant must approach the CSO in the LTA office for defect removal.
6. The application will be forwarded for verification.
7. If the defects are cleared by the applicant, the application will be approved by the Vehicle examiner.
8. Then the applicant must pay the Defect removal order fee, which is $26.07.
9. After paying the fee, the defect removal order will be issued to the applicant.
10. The information about the defect order will then be removed from the Fiji LTA system.
11. The processing time for getting the Defect removal order will be intimated to the applicant while applying.

The applicant who received defect notice from the vehicle examiner is eligible to apply for Defect removal order.

Rental Vehicle Defect Removal Order fee - $26.07

The defect mentioned by the Vehicle examiner must be rectified within 14 days.
