Apply In-Person:

1. To Obtain Declaration of Arms and Ammunition on Importation, the applicant must visit the Fiji Revenue and Customs office. Contact Link
2. The applicant should write a declaration form stating the details of the arms and ammunition that they bought in their baggage.
3. First, the declaration form should be submitted in the Fiji embassy right after the arrival or departure in the airport.
4. Make sure that you have all the documents that are mentioned in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
5. After declaring the arms and ammunitions, the applicant must produce the import or export license to the customs officer.
6. After verifying the license and declaration form, the customs will issue the declaration certificate to the applicant for carrying the licensed arms and ammunitions.
7. The fee details and the processing time will be intimated to the applicant at the customs office.

The fee details will be intimated to the applicant while applying.

The validity period will be intimated to the consignee while declaring at the customs office.

Any individual entering or departing the Fiji who has in their possessions or among their baggage any arms or ammunitions, they must be compulsorily declared at the Fiji Customs office. Otherwise, it is considered as an offence and penalty will be laid on the applicant.
