Apply In-Person:

1. To Obtain Clearance Permit for Timber, the applicant must go to the Biosecurity of Authority office in Fiji. Contact Link
2. The timber importer (applicant) must obtain the appropriate application form from the Fiji Biosecurity Authority office.
3. Make sure that you have all the documents that are mentioned in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
4. The application form should be filled with necessary details, and along with the required documents, it should be submitted to the Biosecurity inspection officer.
5. The prescribed fee payment must be made and the payment receipt must be attached along with the application form.
6. After submitting the application, the Biosecurity officer will inspect the timber according to the Noxious weeds, pests, diseases of plants regulations act.
7. After completely verifying the timber, the timber clearance certificate will be issued to the applicant.
8. With the Timber Clearance certificate, the applicant can apply for the Timber Import Permit in BAF.

10. The processing time will be intimated to the applicant while applying.

The timber owner/agent must apply for the clearance certificate to the Biosecurity Inspection officer.
