Apply In-Person:

1. To Get Export License for Arms, the applicant must visit the Fiji Police Force office. Contact Link
2. The applicant should obtain the appropriate application form from the authorities in the Fiji Police office.
3. The prescribed fee for the application must also be paid and the receipt must be attached along with the application.
4. The application form should be filled with necessary details and then along with the required documents it should be submitted to the Commissioner of the Police Force.
5. Make sure that you have all the documents that are mentioned in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
6. After submitting the application, it will be verified by the Minister and other officials.
7. Then, the Minister along with the approval from the Cabinet will approve the export license to the applicant.
8. However, the license will be approved only if the arms and ammunitions have been in Fiji for at least 12 months before applying for the export license.
9. The fee details and the processing time will be intimated to the applicant at the customs office.

Without the export license, arms and ammunitions cannot be exported out of Fiji as it is an offense to do it.

The export license for arms and ammunitions to be used for personal use do not require approval from the Cabinet.
