Apply In-Person:

1. To Get Arm Import License, the applicant must visit the Fiji Police Force office. Contact Link
2. The applicant should obtain the appropriate application form from the authorities in the Fiji Police office.
3. The prescribed fee for the application must also be paid and the receipt must be attached along with the application.
4. The application form should be filled with necessary details and then along with the required documents it should be submitted to the Commissioner of the Police Force.
5. Make sure that you have all the documents that are mentioned in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
6. After submitting the application, it will be verified by the Minister and other officials.
7. Then, the Minister along with the approval from the Cabinet will approve the import license to the applicant.
8. The fee details and the processing time will be intimated to the applicant at the customs office.

Any individual who intends to bring the arms and ammunitions into Fiji must apply for arms and ammunitions import license.

• The validity period of the import license will be mentioned in the import license issued to the applicant.
• After the expiry, the license must be returned to the police-in-charge at the nearest police station.

Without the import license, arms and ammunitions cannot be imported into Fiji as it is an offense to do it.

After the expiry of the import license, the license holder must return the license to the police officer-in-charge of the police station nearest to the holder of the license resides, within 3 days of the expiry.
