Apply In-Person:

1. To get water connection, you must visit Water Authority of Fiji Customer Care Centre. Contacts
2. The application form for water connection must be obtained from the Water Authority of Fiji Customer Care Centre, or else it can downloaded from the website.
3. Residential Water Supply Application Form – Application Form
4. Commercial/Institution/ Organization Water Supply Application Form – Application Form
5. Make sure that you have all the documents that are mentioned in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
6. The application form must be filled with the necessary details.
7. The lodgement fee must be paid and the fee receipt must be attached along with the application form.
8. The filled application form must be submitted at the Water Authority of Fiji Customer Care Centre.
9. After verifying the application, the authorities will inspect the premises for water connection supply.
10. After inspection, the water supply connection will be installed in the applicants’ premises.
11. For Inspection to approval – 15 working days
12. For Installation – 30 working days
    

Domestic Power Supply connection:

• Copy of valid photo ID [Drivers Licenses, Passport, or Voter Registration]
• Copy of T.I.N letter or joint T.I.N card
• Letter of consent/ approval if the line would be crossing someone’s property
• Sketch Map
• Proof of ownership [Certified true copy and not exceeding 14 days]
  • Registered – Freehold and Leased lands
  • Housing/ Crown/ Freehold/ ITLTB – Recent and complete set of lease/title documents with customers name stipulated.
• Squatters
  • Letter from the squatter Resettlement Unit
  • Two (2) letters from the Lands Department
• Village
  • Letter of approval by Landowner/ Turaga Ni Koro
  • Endorsement from the relevant provincial council.
    

Commercial Power Supply Connection:

• Proof of ownership. [Certified true copy and not exceeding 14 days]
  • Registered – Freehold and Leased lands
  • Housing/ Crown/ Freehold/ ITLTB
  • Recent and complete set of lease/title documents with customers name stipulated.
• Sketch Map
• Copy of business/ organization
• T.I.N letter. Copy of business/ organization certificate [registration]
• Copy of plumbers licenses. [The plumber to setup your side including a stopcock where the meter is to be introduced with a standpipe & be onsite for inspection and ensure that piping is done as per WAF standard.]
• Lodgement fee
• Requirements from Directors/ Trustees
• Copy of valid photo ID [Drivers Licenses, Passport, or Voter Registration]
• Copy of directors/ trustees T.I.N letter of joint T.I.N card.

Approval of Installation of Water connection is valid for 3 months from the date of issue.
