Apply In-Person:

1. To Enrol in Cane Access Road Program, the applicant must visit the Fiji Sugar Corporation or Ministry of Sugar Industry. Location and Contacts
2. The application form must be obtained at the FSC sector offices, Sugarcane Growers Council, and in Ministry of Sugar Industry offices. Contacts Location
3. The application is available only in hard copies.
4. All the registered cane growers or road committees are eligible to enrol in the CAR program.
5. Make sure that you have all the documents that are mentioned in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
6. The application form must be filled necessary details, and submit it to the respective authorities in the office in which the application is obtained.
7. After the application is submitted, it will be verified by the officials in the respective office.
8. Then, the applicant will be enrolled in the Cane Access Road Program. (CAR)
9. The fee and the processing time will be intimated to the applicant while applying.

• To ease the transportation of harvested canes to the mills through better roads, the CAR development program was introduced by the Fiji government.
• Therefore, to get assistance to upgrading roads, construction of roads, and to installation of roads, the CAR enrolment is necessary for the cane growers.
• Because, 3/4th of the financial assistance is provided by the government.
