Apply In-Person:

1. To cancel the Vehicle Registration, the applicant must visit the allocated Land Transport Authority (LTA) Fiji. Contacts
2. The applicant should obtain the application form from the authorities in the LTA office or else you can download it from the website. Application Form
3. Make sure that you have all the documents that are mentioned in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
4. The application form should be filled with necessary details, and then you should it to the CSO – Customer Service Officer.
5. The CSO will update your application details in the system.
6. After that, you have to pay the application fee.
7. After the payment, the Team Leader in LTA office will approve your application, and the records will be updated.
8. Then the Number plates must be surrendered in the LTA office.
9. Then the applicant’s vehicle registration will be canceled and also, the cancelation certificate will be issued to the applicant.

The Vehicle registration can be canceled for two main reason

• You are trying to take your vehicle abroad.
• Your vehicle is not road worthy and will not be used on the road anymore.
  

• Vehicle Removed from Fiji

Vehicle registration is a compulsory requirement by the state. It establishes the ownership to motorist or vehicle owners.
