  • To request a copy of the birth certificate simply go to a Post Fiji Outlet. A list of outlets which provides Birth Certificate printing services is provided below.
  • Make sure that you can produce a valid ID when you apply for the procedure.
  • The rate for printing a Birth Certificate is $5.00

It may be possible for you to obtain a copy of your birth certificate from a Fiji overseas office or diplomatic representatives of Fiji in foreign countries, you may use the link below under 'Office Locations & Contacts' section to see a list of addresses and contact details.

Copies of Birth Certificates can be obtained from Post Fiji outlets. Instead of making a special trip to the registrars office and standing in queues, Post Fiji offers the service of printing birth certificates.

Need for the Document

A Birth Certificate states the name and sex of a person, it also indicate the time and place of birth, it is issued after you have registered the birth of a child. A copy of the birth certificate is often needed when you apply for procedures, such as getting a passport, a driver license or a marriage license.
