Apply In-Person:

1. To apply for the replacement of Number Plates, the applicant must visit the Land Transport Authority (LTA) Fiji. Contacts
2. The “Application for Replacement Number Plate” form must be obtained from the authorities in the LTA office, else can be downloaded from the website. Form
3. If the vehicle number plate is lost, stolen, defaced or damaged, the applicant can apply for a replacement number plate.
4. The application form must be filled with necessary details, and along with the required documents it should be submitted to the CSO – Customer Service Officer in the LTA office.
5. The CSO will verify the application, and the applicant must pay the fee for the replacement number plate.
6. The fee for the number placement is $ 16.11 for Commercial Vehicle, and $ 13.74 for Private and PSV Vehicle.
7. After the fee payment, the CSO will collect the damaged or defaced number plate from the applicant.
8. Then the order for the new numberplate will be placed by the CSO.
9. The printed numberplate must be collected by the applicant. The applicant can mention the LTA office location where he/she would like to collect the printed numberplate.
10. The printing of the replacement numberplate will take 1 day in Valelevu LTA Office.
11. In other LTA office, it will take more than 1 day, the exact time will be intimated to the applicant while making the application.
