Apply In-Person:

1. To Apply for Pilot Service Provider, the applicant must visit the Maritime Safety Authority of Fiji (MSAF). Contact Link
2. The application form must be obtained from the authorities in the MSAF office, or else it can be downloaded from the website. Application Form
3. Make sure that you have all the documents that are mentioned in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
4. The application form should be filled with necessary details, and along with the required documents it should be submitted to the Chief Executive Officer of MSAF Fiji.
5. The CEO will verify the application, and all the documents will be review and inspected by the MSAF authorities too.
6. After complete verification, the applicant will be issued the approval for Piolet Service Provider License certificate.
7. The approval and Recognition fee for the Piolet Service provider is $1000.00. (VIP)
8. The processing time for this procedure will be intimated by the authorities in the MSAF office.

To apply for Pilot Service provider approval, the applicant should meet all the eligibility criteria set by the Fijis’ Maritime Transport Act 2013 and the Maritime (Pilotage) Regulations Law.

Approval and Recognition fee - $1000.00 (VIP)

The validity of the Pilot Service Provider will be mentioned in the approval notice Issued to the applicant.
