Apply In-Person:

1. To apply for New Farmers Assistance Scheme, the applicant must visit the Fiji’s Ministry of Sugar Industries. Location and Contacts
2. The application form must be obtained at the Ministry of Sugar Industry offices.
3. The application is available only in hard copies.
4. All the new farmers in sugarcane farming are eligible to apply for this scheme.
5. Make sure that you have all the documents that are mentioned in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
6. The application form must be filled necessary details, and submit it to the respective authorities in the Ministry of Sugar Industries office.
7. The application will be verified by the authorities of Sugar Industry Tribunal and then it will be forwarded to the Project steering committee.
8. The CEO of the Project Steering Committee will finalize the eligible applicants for the scheme.
9. After the application is submitted, it will be verified by the officials in the office.
10. The fee and the processing time will be intimated to the applicant while applying.
