Apply In-Person:

1. To apply for Motor Vehicle inspection or trailer, the applicant must visit the Land Transport Authority (LTA) Fiji. Contacts
2. The “Application for Inspection of Motor Vehicle/Trailer” form must be obtained from the authorities in the LTA office, else it can be downloaded from the website. Form
3. The application form must be filled with necessary details, and then it should be submitted to the LTA Authorized officer.
4. Make sure that you have all the documents that are mentioned in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
5. The LTA Authorized officer will verify the application, and then will forward the application to the inspection officer.
6. Along with the application, the application fee must be paid which is $ 13. 74.
7. After getting the approval from the LTA authorized officer, the inspection officer in the LTA will inspect motor vehicle.
8. After inspection, the vehicle examiner will issue either the passed test or vehicle inspection failed reason certificate to the applicant.

The Motor Vehicle Inspection application fee is $13.74.

The motor vehicle inspection validity period will be mentioned in the given inspection report.
