1. To Apply for Buoy Mooring, the applicant must visit the Maritime Safety Authority of Fiji (MSAF). Contact Link
2. The application form must be obtained from the authorities in the MSAF office, or else it can be downloaded from the website. Application Form
3. Make sure that you have all the documents that are mentioned in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
4. The application form should be filled with necessary details, and along with the required documents it should be sent via post to the Manager of Safety, Compliance & Response Division in MSAF Fiji.
5. The authorities will verify the application, and the approval to buy the Buoy Mooring for the ship will be approved.
6. The fee details for the Buoy Mooring application will be intimated to the applicant while applying.
7. The processing time for this procedure will be intimated by the authorities in the MSAF office.

The fee details for the Buoy Mooring application will be intimated to the applicant while applying.

The validity period will be mentioned in the approval notice issued to the applicant.

To buy the Buoy Moorings for the Ship, the applicant must get the approval from the authorities in the Fijis’ MSAF.

Buoy mooring(s) are not for sale or transfer and must be used in accordance with the conditions placed on the owners.
