Apply In-Person

1. To apply for the Unique Number Plate, the applicant must visit the Land Transport Authority (LTA) in Fiji. Contacts Link
2. While applying In-Person, the applicant should obtain the application form from the authorities in the LTA office or else you can download it from the website. Application Form
3. Make sure that you have all the documents that are mentioned in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
4. The application form should be filled with necessary details, and then it should be submitted to the Customer Service Officer (CSO).
5. The CSO officer will check and register the application form.
6. The registered application form will then be sent to Team Leader (TM) and Regional Manager (RM).
7. The Unique Number Plate application will be finally approved by the RM.
8. After the approval, the applicant must pay the desired amount for the number plate.
9. Then you have to approach the Third-Party Policy Insurer and get the TPP – Transport Policy & Programmer.
10. After that, the applicant must carry the amended TPP, Current Number Plate, and Registration Label to the CSO.
11. They will upload and update the documents, and then the Unique Number Plate will be issued to the applicant.

13. The processing time for this procedure will be intimated to the applicant while applying.
14. However, to print the Unique Number Plates, it will take 1 day in the Valeleve LTA office. Whereas in other LTA offices in Fiji, it will take more than 1 day.

• The applicant must have a Registered Vehicle to apply for the Unique Number Plate.
• Also, the applicant must have cleared all the TINs before applying for the Unique Number Plate.
  

• Application Fee for Unique Number Plate - $ 9.48

• Fitting of Number Plate - $​ 4.74
  

The validity of the Unique Number Plate will be mentioned in the registration certificate issued to the applicant by the authorities in the LTA office.

If any individual wants Unique Number Plate for their vehicle, then they must need to apply to the authorities in LTA and get it printed.
