Apply In-Person:

1. To Validate or Equate Foreign Educational Certificate, the applicant has to approach the Ministry of Education contact link
2. Application form for this procedure can be obtained at the Ministry.
3. Applicant has to fill-in all the details that are requested in the application form.
4. Applicant should make sure to carry necessary documents that are listed under “Required Documents” section of this page (both photocopies and originals).
5. Applicant must attach photocopies of documents (whichever is necessary) along with the application form.
6. Fee for this procedure has to be paid as per authority’s request.
7. If all the above-mentioned procedure is followed properly, then, the certificate will be issued within 7days.
   

• Original Educational Certificate
• Photo Copies of Original Certificate
• A leaving certificate/School leaving testimonials from the institution attended during the course for each certificate presented for equation and the preceding certificates.
• A letter by the embassy/ministry of education of the country where the certificate originated from giving a detailed report on the accreditation status of the examination board which issued the certificate.
• A copy of the syllabus to show the course content. (if requested)
• A letter from the examining board/institution giving details of the mode of assessment/evaluation i.e. Formative and/or summative assessment. (if requested)

• A person holding a foreign certificate and seeking to join an institution offering the Council’s examinations shall obtain an equation from the Council before joining that institution.
• Such certificates should have been awarded by an accredited examining board or an institution mandated by law to offer the examination and certificates.
  

Fee for this procedure has to be paid as per authority’s request.
