Ethiopia - Test Food parameters in laboratory

Apply In Person

  1. To Test Food parameters in laboratory, the applicant has to visit the Ethiopian Public Health Institute.
  2. To contact the Ethiopian Public Health Institute, the link is given below link
  3. Applicant has to get the application form from the office to test food parameters.
  4. Now, complete the application form with appropriate information under relevant sections. Attest it with your signature once completed.
  5. Make sure that you have all the documents listed in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
  6. Once completed filling the application form, submit it in person to the relevant authority at the office with the documents and samples.
  7. Pay the necessary application fees as per the authority request.
  8. After submission, the application and other documents will be forwarded for examination and verification processes.
  9. And the sample is sent for testing in the laboratory.
  10. Once the verification and testing is done successfully, the applicant will receive a formal notification from the office and the applicant can collect it by any applicable means.

Instructions

  • Every sample should be delivered to the reception unit of EPHI in good condition.
  • Each sample should be a half a kilogram.
  • In case of starch determination from maize grain sample, the sample should weight one kilogram.
  • For urinary iodine analysis sample volume should be 3 to 5ml while for zinc serum is 1ml.
