Apply In-Person:

1. Revocation and Cancellation of Investment License is done in Ethiopian Investment Commission contact link.
2. Applicant should provide necessary details in the application form.
3. Applicant must carry all related documents which are mentioned under “Required Documents” section of this page (both photocopies and originals).
4. Applicant should attach photocopies of documents (whichever is necessary) along with the application form.
5. Fee has to be paid as per the authority’s request.
6. Applicant should attach photocopies of documents along with the application form while submitting.
7. If all the above-mentioned procedures were followed properly, the procedure will be completed within a month by visiting the office or via post.

• Applicant must provide valid reason for revocation or cancelation of an investment license.
• Applicant should follow all instructions provided by concerned authorities properly for completing the procedure.

Revocation or cancelation of an investment license can prevent various companies from black marked investors and fraudulent investors.

• Investors who obtained a permit fraudulently by using false documents will be cancelled.
• If an investor failed to submit progress report of his project for two consecutive period, then his license will be cancelled.
