Apply In-Person:

1. Application for renewal of Microfinance Bank License is available in the National Bank of Ethiopia contact link
2. Applicant should provide all necessary information that is requested in the application form.
3. Applicant must carry all related documents which are mentioned under “Required Documents” section of this page (both photocopies and originals).
4. Applicant should attach photocopies of documents (whichever is necessary) along with the application form.
5. Fee for this procedure is 1,000 Birr for application form and 300 Birr for license renewal.
6. Applicant should attach photocopies of documents along with the application form while submitting.
7. If all the above-mentioned procedures were followed properly, the procedure will be completed within 7 days by visiting the office or via post.

• Fee for applying for renewal of license is 1,000 Birr.
• Fee for license renewal is 300 Birr.
