Apply In-Person:

1. Application form for renewal of Forex Bureau License is available in the National Bank of Ethiopia contact link
2. Applicant should provide all necessary information that is requested in the application form.
3. Applicant must carry all related documents which are mentioned under “Required Documents” section of this page (both photocopies and originals).
4. Applicant should attach photocopies of documents (whichever is necessary) along with the application form.
5. Fee for this procedure has to be paid as per authority’s request.
6. Applicant should attach photocopies of documents along with the application form while submitting.
7. If all the above-mentioned procedures were followed properly, the procedure will be completed within 21 days at the office or via post.

Renewal of a Forex Bureau License must be done yearly for continuing their business.

The National Bank of Ethiopia holds the right for renewal of a Forex Bureau License of companies in Ethiopia.
