Apply In Person

1. To Renew of Commercial Registration Certificate, the applicant has to approach the Ethiopian Investment Commission link
2. The applicant has to get the application form for renewal a Commercial Registration Certificate from the respective office or download the form by using this link
3. The applicant has to fill-in all the necessary details in the form.
4. Make sure that the applicant has to give the necessary all documents (photocopies and originals) mentioned in “Required Documents” in the section of this page.
5. Applicant should attach the photocopies of the necessary documents (whichever is necessary) along with the application form while submitting.
6. Fee for this procedure has to paid as per the authority request.
7. If all the above-mentioned procedures were followed by the applicant properly, then, the renewal of license will be issued within 15days.
   

If it is an individual organization or a one-person company:

• A copy of the ID of the applicant or the legal representative of the organization (the authorized signatory included in the commercial registration)
• A copy of the applicant’s ID, and
• The application form.

If it is a limited liability or Partnership Company or a company excluded by a Ministerial resolution:

• A collective acknowledgment from the partners (on the company’s letterhead and stamped with the company stamp)
• A copy of the ID of the person authorized to sign the application (authorized signatory)
• A copy of the applicant’s ID and
• Service application.

If it is a public/private joint stock company:

• Chairman’s resolution (or the minutes of meeting);
• A copy of the ID of the person authorized to sign the application (authorized signatory)
• A copy of the applicant’s ID and
• Service application.

If it is a foreign company foreign one-person company:

• A letter from the company (on the company’s letterhead and stamped with the company stamp)
• A copy of the ID of the person authorized to sign the application (authorized signatory)
• A copy of the applicant’s ID and
• Service application.
