Apply Online
- To Renew Professional License, the applicant has to make the application in Ethiopia E – service portal or tap the following link
- The applicant has to complete the online application form for renew Professional License or Permit or tap the following link
- The applicant must read through the instruction and click on the “I agree and continue” icon.
- The applicant has to login with their Email id or phone number and password. (If the applicant doesn’t have an account the applicant has to click on “Register” and register for new account.
- After logging in the applicant must fill in all the necessary details in the application form.
- Make sure that the applicant has to upload all the necessary documents (photocopies and originals) that are mentioned in “Required Documents” in the section of this page.
- The applicant has to pay the service fee as per the request.
- Review and submit the application. For successful submission the applicant will gets the notification regarding application to the register email id or mobile number.
Note:
- After you Submit your Service Request Application, you will be provided with a unique Tracking Number and Service provider branch that will process your service request. This information will also be sent to your email address you provided at registration time. With your tracking number, you can follow up the progress of your application on Track My Application Section. You can only apply for the Same Service Request once. Only after the completion of existing Service request, you can reapply to the Service again.
- For Service requests that requires a physical presence as a part of business process (Example: Payment, hard print document verifications, Document Pickup), you will be asked to reserve appointment time On Appointment Section. Once you complete your reservation, the provider will reserve the time and service counter for you. You can’t change you reservation time, so make sure you will be at reserved service counter before 10 minutes of reservation time.

- To Renew Professional License, the applicant has to approach Ministry of Labour and Social affairs link
- An application from will be provided to the applicant by the respective officer.
- Applicant has to fill in all necessary details in the application form (Incomplete application forms are not accepted).
- Make sure that the applicant has all the necessary documents (photocopies and originals) that are mentioned in “Required Documents” in the section of this page.
- Applicant should attach the photocopies of the necessary documents (whichever is necessary) along with the application form while submitting.
- Submit the application form to the respective officer. The authority will review the application.
- Fee for this procedure has to be paid as per the authority request and submit the receipt as a proof of payment.
- Upon the successful verification, the Professional License or Permit will be issued within 7-14 days.
Required Documents
- Duly signed and filled application form.
- Professional license
- Submit their service request by filling the application form.
- Attach Renewed Resident ID Card, Passport or driving license.
- Attach Renewed work permit, Resident ID Card and Passport if the owner is foreign
- Attach Previously Issued Certificate of Professional license
- Attach 3X4 size photograph
- Attach Authenticated Power of Attorney (not more than 6 months)
- Attach Agreement document of Educational Cost sharing if Original Document of Educational Evidence is not provided within 2 years period of time after issuance of temporary educational document or Written evidence issued by the Educational Institution is not given.

Need for the Document
- A person holding professional license must renew their license before a month or week of expiry to continue the service or if there are any changes that occurred in the profession it must be mentioned on the license. Because, Professional licensure protects the public by enforcing standards that restrict practice to qualified individuals who have met specific qualifications in education, work experience, and exams.
- Professional license means the document of authorization or certification issued by an agency of this state for a regulatory purpose, or by any similar agency in another jurisdiction for a regulatory purpose, to a person to engage in an occupation or to carry out a trade or business.
