Warehouseman means any person who owns, leases or is in charge of a warehouse where coffee is handled and stored for reward or profit.

Apply In-Person:

1. To Renew Coffee Warehouseman certificate in Ethiopia the person approach Ethiopian Coffee and Tea Authority contact link or the applicant should contact Ministry of agriculture location link
2. There the applicant will be issued with application from for Renew Coffee Warehouseman certificate the authority.
3. Applicant has to fill-in all the necessary details in the application form.
4. When filling the application form, make sure the information is correct and also indicate whether it is an application for a new license or renewal of a certificate.
5. Applicant must make sure to carry documents that are listed under “Required Documents” section of this page (Both photocopies and originals).
6. Submit the completed application form and pay the required application fee of and submit the receipt as proof of payment.
7. This is followed by an inspection of applicants by the Board field Officers
8. The Board field officers will inspect the application make recommendations on the application, and forward their report forwarded to Board’s Headquarters for the ultimate Board approval.
9. Upon a successful of license, the Applicant is notified and he/she will be required to pay the respective license fee of US$ 500 to the board and submit the receipt as proof of payment.
10. Once the renewal processing is done, the coffee warehouseman certificate is issued to the applicant by the Managing Director.

• A certified copy of certificate of incorporation.
• A certified copy of memorandum and articles of association.
• Names of company directors, individual National ID/ Passport No, Pin Numbers and certificate of good conduct.
• Names and addresses of two business referees.
• Names of company directors, individual National ID, Passport No. Pin Numbers and certificate of good conduct.
• Tax compliance certificate from Ethiopia Revenue Authority for the Company and Directors.
• A certified copy of a comprehensive insurance cover from a reputable firm proportionate to volume of coffee handled as per insurance valuation.
• A sworn affidavit by the applicant of their involvement by themselves, their servants, spouses, next of kin, holding companies, associated companies, or partnerships in the business of commercial dealers, management agents, warehousemen, pulping station or marketing agents.
• Undertaking to furnish the Directorate with monthly stock returns.
• Any other requirements that may be prescribed by the Directorate from time to time.

Any cooperative society, person, group or company having coffee warehouse in Ethiopia are eligible to renew after expiry or before a week or month of expiry.

Fees to be paid as per the advice of the authority officer.

The renewed license is valid for the period of one year.
