Apply In-Person:

1. To Obtain license or Permit for Seed Business, the applicant has to approach the Ministry of Agriculture in Ethiopia Link
2. An application from will be provided to the applicant by the respective officer.
3. Applicant has to fill in all necessary details in the application form (Incomplete application forms are not accepted).
4. Make sure that the applicant has to prepare necessary documents (photocopies and originals) that are mentioned in “Required Documents” in the section of this page.
5. Applicant should attach the photocopies of the necessary documents (whichever is necessary) along with the application form while submitting.
6. Submit the application form and the testing seed to the respective officer. The authority will review the application and do the laboratory testing process.
7. The applicant has to pay the prescribed fee, and submit the receipt as a proof of payment.
8. Upon the successful verification, the applicant gets the license within 15-30days.
