1. To get ground instructor license applicant has to visit Ethiopian civil aviation authority contact link
2. The application form is available in the respective office.
3. Applicant has to enter all the information that is mentioned under “Required Information” section of this page.
4. Applicant must make sure to carry all documents that are mentioned under “Required Documents” section of this page.
5. Applicant must have both photocopies and originals of the required documents.
6. Applicant must attach photocopies of documents (whichever is required) along with the application form while submitting.
7. If all above-mentioned procedures were followed properly, the applicant can get their document after 2 to 4 months.
8. The applicant can get their license by visiting the respective office.

• Flight experience document 200hrs
• Health certificate

• Pass a knowledge test on aeronautical areas appropriate to flight instructor

• Fee for this procedure is 30,000 Birr.

• Valid for a period of 2 years.
