Apply In-Person:

1. To obtain for Radiation Protection Board License, the applicant has to approach Radiation Protection Authority in Ethiopia contact link
2. Applicant has to get the application form from the respective office.
3. Applicant must provide all necessary information in the application form.
4. Make sure that you have all the documents mentioned in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
5. Submit the completed application form and the required documents to the respective authority.
6. Fee for this procedure is given the “Fees” section of this procedure and submit the receipt as a proof of payment.
7. After the verification/ validation of document is done, the board will issue the license within one month.

No person is allowed to administer ionizing radiation to another person unless he/she is in possession of a valid license issued by the radiation protection board.

Registration fee is – 1000.

Validity for the license is one year.

The Radiation Protection Board issues radiation device or radioactive material sell, lease, loan or deal license to ensure irradiating devices or radioactive materials are only sold to licensed radiation facilities or persons.
