Apply In-Person:

  1. Application form for claiming unclaimed financial assets by an original owner in Ethiopia is available in the Ministry of Finance, Ethiopia contact link
  2. Applicant must provide all necessary information in the application form before submitting it.
  3. Applicant should make sure to carry photocopies and originals of all documents needed for this procedure to complete.
  4. Documents that are needed for completing this procedure are mentioned under “Required Documents” section of this page.
  5. Applicant should make sure to attach photocopies of necessary documents along with the application form while submitting it at the office.
  6. Fee for this procedure has to be paid as per authority’s request.
  7. If all above-mentioned procedures were followed properly, claim will be provided within 90 days.

  • Official letter from the holder confirming remittance of unclaimed financial assets to the Authority

  • Documents from foreign jurisdictions should be notarized by a Public Notary
