1. Application for Conversion of a foreign aircraft maintenance engineers license in Ethiopia is done at the Ethiopian Civil Aviation Authority contact link
2. Applicant has to enter all information that is mentioned under “Required Information” section of this page.
3. Applicant must make sure to carry all documents that are mentioned under “Required Documents” section of this page.
4. Applicant must have both photocopies and originals of the required documents.
5. Applicant must attach photocopies of documents (whichever is required) along with the application form while submitting.
6. Fee for this procedure has to be paid as per authority’s request.
7. If all above-mentioned procedures were followed properly, applicant can get their document within 14 days.
8. If the application is rejected, the applicant has to undergo the application procedure from the beginning.

This certificate is necessary for a foreigner to work as an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer in Ethiopia.
