1. Cancellation of gun license in Ethiopia can be done in the Ministry of Defense, Ethiopia contact link
2. Applicant has to provide all necessary information in the application form.
3. Applicant must carry photocopies and originals of all documents that are necessary for this procedure.
4. Documents that are needed for this procedure are mentioned under “Required Documents” section of this page.
5. Cancellation can be done for free of cost.
6. If all above-mentioned procedures were followed properly by the applicant, the cancellation will be done within 3 days.
7. Applicant can visit the office for collecting their license.
8. If there is no information regarding the license is provided, applicant can visit the office to know status of their application.

Citizens of Ethiopia and Permanent Residents of Ethiopia who hold a gun license and are willing to cancel it are eligible.

This procedure is free of charge.

Cancellation is valid forever.
