Ethiopia - Apply for a Teachers Duplicate Certificate of Registration

Apply In-Person:

  1. Application for a teachers duplicate certificate of registration is available in the Ministry of Education, Ethiopia -contact link
  2. Applicant has to enter all necessary information in the application form.
  3. Applicant should also provide valid reason on why they are requesting for a duplicate certificate.
  4. Documents that are needed for completing application procedure are listed under “Required Documents” section of this page.
  5. Applicant must carry both photocopies and originals of all those documents while applying for this procedure.
  6. Attach photocopies of documents along with the application form (whichever is necessary).
  7. Fee for this procedure is 2000 Birr. The amount has to be deposited to National Bank of Ethiopia.
  8. If all necessary information is provided along with the needed documents, applicant can get their duplicate certificate within a month by visiting the office.

  • Educational Certificate
  • Existing certificate number or certificate (if available)
  • Address Proof
  • If employed, must provide details of the institution in which the applicant works like salary slip, offer letter or even a recommendation from the institute.
