Apply In-Person:

1. To obtain study permit, applicant has to approach the Ministry of Foreign Affairs contact link
2. Applicant has to get the application form from the respective office.
3. Complete the application form with necessary details.
4. Make sure that the applicant should have the necessary documents mentioned in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
5. Submit the application form along with the documents to the concerned officer.
6. Now the authorities will verify your application and validate the submitted documents.
7. After verification process, authority will issue the concerned study permit to the applicant within in 2weeks.

• Travel health insurance
• Authenticated certificates and mark sheets of the last examination passed
• Satisfactory evidence of financial support

• Sex, age, marital status of student
• Level of education
• Particulars of the enrolling university / institution in Ethiopia (Name, contact and physical address);
• Particulars of course / programme of study;
• Year of admission and duration of course;
• Physical and contact address of host where applicant shall be staying while in the country.
  

To visit other countries for educational purpose, a person need this permit.
