Apply In-Person:

1. Application for getting a prescribed profession permit in Ethiopia is available in the Main Department for Immigration and Nationality Affairs -Link
2. Applicant must enter basic details which are necessary for completing the procedure.
3. Applicant should make sure to carry all documents that are mentioned under “Required Documents” section of this page (both photocopies and originals).
4. Applicant must attach photocopies of necessary documents along with the application form.
5. Fee for this procedure has to be paid as per authority’s request.
6. If all above-mentioned procedures were followed properly by the applicant, permit will be issued within 2 weeks.
7. If permit is refused by concerned authorities, applicant can visit the office to know the reason for cancellation and then undergo the application process once again.
