Apply In-Person:

1. To apply for a Petroleum Business Licence, the applicant has to approach the Ministry of Mines & Petroleum location link
2. Applicant has to collect the application form to apply for a Petroleum Business Licence from the respective authority.
3. Applicant has to fill-in the necessary details in the application form.
4. Make sure that you have all the documents mentioned in the “Required Documents” section of this procedure.
5. Applicant has to attach the photocopies along with the application form.
6. Submit the application form to the respective authority.
7. Fee for this procedure has to paid as per the authority request and submit the receipt as a proof of payment.
8. Upon the successful registration, the license will be approved within the stipulated processing time.

• A copy of technical agreement of MOU with Kenyan company/Department of Petroleum Resource Accredited laboratory.
• Current Workmen’s compensation policy.
