Apply In-Person:

1. Application form for getting a license in Ethiopia to operate a university is available in Ethiopian Ministry of Education contact link
2. Applicant must fill in all needed information in the application form.
3. Documents that are necessary for completing this procedure are listed under “Required Documents” section of this page.
4. Applicant must make sure to carry all the documents as photocopies and Originals.
5. While submitting the application form, applicant has to attach photocopies of documents that are requested by the authority.
6. Fee for this procedure has to be paid as per authority’s request.
7. There will be a few verification visits from the authority’s side before approving the application for license.
8. If concerned authorities approved the application after field visits, applicant can get their license within 3 months.
9. If license is not issued within 3 months, applicant can reach the office to know status of their application.
