Apply In-Person:

1. Application for Permanent Resident Permit in Ethiopia is available in the Main Department for Immigration and Nationality Affairs, Ethiopia contact link
2. Applicant must provide all necessary information in the application form.
3. Documents that are needed for this procedure are mentioned under “Required Documents” section of this page.
4. Applicant should carry photocopies and originals of all the documents while applying for this procedure.
5. Applicant should attach photocopies of documents (whichever is necessary) along with the application form while submitting the application form.
6. The fee for this procedure has to be paid as per authority’s request.
7. If all above-mentioned procedures were followed properly, permanent resident permit is provided within 14 days.
8. Applicant can get their permit by visiting the office.
