Apply In-Person:

1. Application for getting a license to manufacture drugs for sales in Ethiopia is available in the Food, Medicine and Health Care Administration and Control Authority of Ethiopia contact link
2. Applicant must provide all necessary information in the application form.
3. Documents that are needed for this procedure are mentioned under “Required Documents” section of this page.
4. Applicant should carry photocopies and originals of all the documents while applying for this procedure.
5. Applicant should attach photocopies of documents (whichever is necessary) along with the application form while submitting the application form.
6. Fee for this procedure has to be paid for each product. The exact fee to be paid will be instructed by concerned authorities.
7. If all above-mentioned procedures were completed properly by the applicant, the license will be provided within 30 days.
8. Applicant can get their license by visiting the office.
9. If the license is not provided within the mentioned period, applicant can reach out to the office to know the status of their application.

The license is valid for 1 year.
