Apply In Person

1. To Apply Electricity Permit for Construction, the applicant has to visit the Ethiopian Electric Power Corporation link
2. The applicant has to get the form from the respective office to get the electricity permit for the construction.
3. Applicant must enter all necessary information requested in the application form.
4. Documents that are needed for completing application procedure are listed under “Required Documents” section of this page.
5. Applicant must carry both photocopies and originals of all those documents while applying for this procedure.
6. Attach photocopies of documents along with the application form (whichever is necessary).
7. Fee for this procedure depends upon the existing power connection and power requirements.
8. Submit the application form and the required documents to the respective officer.
9. If all above-mentioned procedures are followed properly, electricity connection permit for construction will be provided within 3 months.

• Newly construction with no existing electricity connection.
• Existing connections which want to change the connection address, watt type, voltage etc.

• Fee for this procedure depends upon the type of connection and power requirements.

• The validity for the electricity connection is forever.
