Apply In-Person:

1. To validate or equate a foreign educational certificate in Egypt, applicant will need to contact the Egyptian Embassy in the country where the certificate was issued.
2. Information related to the Ministry of Education authority can be obtained from the “Office locations and contacts” section of this page link
3. The embassy will assist the applicant in obtaining the required information and documents to ensure a successful validation and/or equivalence process.
4. Accordingly, the applicants must ensure that they completely fill out all required information on the application form.
5. Then the applicant has gathered all the required documents such as my original foreign educational certificate, valid passport, and they can be found under the "Required Documents" section of this page.
6. The applicant must Submit the application form and all the required documents to the embassy to complete the application process.
7. The embassy will assess the application, and if necessary, may contact the applicant for additional information or documents.
8. Once all necessary documents have been reviewed by the embassy, they will issue an official letter of validation or equivalence.
9. The applicant can use the official letter of validation or equivalence to apply to the Egyptian Ministry of Higher Education for the recognition of their foreign educational certificate.
10. Once the application is reviewed by The Ministry of Higher Education, they will issue an official recognition certificate if it is approved.
11. The processing time for this procedure is within 5days.

Apply Online:

1. To validate or equate a foreign educational certificate, applicant visit the e-Service portal link
2. Then the applicant must click on the “Validation of Foreign Education Certificates” link.
3. Applicant must follow the steps to complete the online application form.
4. Submit the application form along with the required documents such as a copy of the foreign educational certificate, passport, application fee payment receipt.
5. After successful submission of the application form, the applicant will receive an acknowledgment email with an application reference number.
6. The applicant should use the reference number to track the status of their application online.
7. The applicant should submit the original documents to the validation office.
8. Once the validation process is completed, the applicant will receive an electronic certificate.
9. The applicant should take a printout of the certificate for future reference.
